Mitsukino Town is the hometown of Yatsuha and her compatriots, and where her adventures start. It's host to a number of locations, from the prestigious Sayo Academy for Young Women to the Yamanashi Energy Research Institute, as well as all the normal things you'd find in a town. Mitsukino Town isn't the most upstanding of places however. There's a seedy underbelly of people corrupted by the influence of the tentacles, who are responsible for some of the more objectionable posters you can see just strolling around town.

[Orange Bikini Girl] "That's her! She just waltzed in here and then she bloody hit me!"

Of course, a fight ensues.

As well as some more unusual places. Just because it's the real world, it doesn't mean our protagonists are safe. The agents of the tentacles are in Mitsukino Town, and our heroines need to fight their influence in the real world.

Nightmare Realm

The Nightmare Realm is a realm of spiritual energy, and as of late, has been seeping into Mitsukino Town, driven by the influence of the tentacles. As such, the Energy Research Institute has been sending combat teams into the Nightmare Realm, to fight the tentacles at their source.

The Nightmare Realm isn't a single place though. There are lots of different bubbles, shaped by human perception and desires. Here are just some of the places the girls will visit.
